Using various web sites I have scoured the mainstream media in several countries looking for any references to the proposal currently being debated in the European Parliament on blocking access to child pornography on the internet. I cannot find any. There are a few comments in the techie press and related blogs but that’s about it. That is very surprising. Does anyone have any thoughts about why that is the case? Or have I just failed to find the right sites?
Why is the media silent on the issue of blocking? Has no one told them what is going on?
